Canoe a Cumbrian classic – River Eden A weekend of white water canoeing in the stunning Eden valley of Cumbria. Rapids, Wildlife, amazing views and a great social weekend with friend.

Adventure itinerary


Day 1 Meeting from 1800 at our canoe base camp, meeting your guilds and support team then a short briefing about the weekends white water canoeing. Then on to a homemade meal in our base station followed by drinks. Day 2 After a full Cumbrian breakfast and plenty of fresh tea and coffee, we will drive the team the short distance up the road to the canoe start point, the next few hour will be spent coaching and getting the team ready for the rapids ahead, after hot lunch on the river, we are away down the river and if we are lucky there may be an otter or two swimming with us in the river. On to our first major rapid of the day, a great grad 3 bit of moving water. Just after the rapid we will take a short stop at lacys caves and your guild we talking to you about the interesting history of the caves. Now onto the campsite a short paddle and in to the base station for hot drinks and cakes, our base camp has hot showers so after a fun day on the river you can get ready to head out to the local pub for some stunning food and maybe sample some of the local drinks on offer. Day 3 After a great evening in the pub, we are sure you will be ready for your breakfast. After breakfast we will shuttle your own transport to the end of the river as you are a little closer to the motorways, and our shuttle pus with bring you back to the camp for a briefing of the day. Today is the big one FULL or raids and stunning views. After a great day of fun on the river we aim to get to the end of the river by 2pm and then we say goodbye after a stunning week of fun and white water.
